Pictures with Santa

Children are invited to meet Santa and have a photo taken. Parents are welcome to take their own photos for no charge or photos can be printed at CVS in downtown Wake Forest 48 hours after the event for $0.25 each. For more information, call (919) 570-1372 or visit WakeForestDowntown.com

Another Breakfast with Santa

The Wake Forest Junior Woman's Club invites you to attend the annual fundraiser, Breakfast with Santa. Enjoy sitting on Santa's lap, getting a professional photo and a light breakfast with your family. Proceeds from this special event are used for our Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship. The following book-related events will be taking place during the month of December:

  • Business Author Reading/Signing Dave Patterson will read from his book Over the Gap and discuss his practical, cut-to-the-chase system for launching a career change. Saturday, December 12, 2:00 PM. Storyteller's Book Store
  • Remembrance of Things Past Book Club will be discussing She’s Not There, by Jennifer Finney Boylan. Sunday, December 13, 3:00 PM. Storyteller's Book Store. New members welcome. Join at meetup.com or just come to the meeting.
  • Children’s Story Time Fridays: 10:00 AM, Alphabet Soup. All ages welcome. Saturdays: 10:30 am, Storyteller’s Book Store.
  • Northern Wake Storytelling Circle Organized by premier storyteller Claire Ramsey. Open to the public. Thursday, December 10, 7:00 PM. Storyteller's Book Store.

Wine Tasting For Charity

There will be a Wine tasting and silent auction at Twisted Vine. The event will benefit the Mitchell Mill Animal Hospital Rescue.

Tickets are $20 for five wine tastings, appetizers and bidding. ($15 without the wine).

Come out on Saturday, December 12, from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
