Funeral arrangements for fallen firefighter 'Flip' Kissinger

The family of Lt. Harry P. "Flip" Kissinger of Youngsville will have a visitation for the 35-year-old father and Raleigh firefighter on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 6 to 10 p.m. at Richland Creek Community Church, 3229 Burlington Mills Road, Wake Forest. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Donations may be made to the Kissinger Family Care Fund at any First Citizens Bank. The nearest branch is on New Falls of Neuse Road in the Kroger shopping center.

Kids Night Out at Polar Ice House

Twelve Harp Holiday Concert by Candlelight

Enjoy the Holiday Concert by Candlelight featuring America's premier youth harp ensemble, a 12-member elite traveling ensemble. Previous performances have been held at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, CNN, and United Nations. Tickets are available by calling (919) 556-5141 for $15 per adult and $10 for children 10 and under.

2009 Paint Party Participants Exhibit

Sunflower Studio & Gallery features the 2009 Paint Party Participants for AAH's on Friday, December 11th. Those that attended our adult classes in 2009 are asked to bring in their favorite painting to show and/or sale. All guest gallery commissions will go to Tri-Area Ministry and we will also have a donation jar available for those wishing to give support during this critical time of need. We will have live music with Larry Kirwan on the hammered dulcimer and he will have his Christmas CD's available for sale. Also see the latest works of Sunflower Studio's six resident artists.
